I try not to link a 'bad area' in the eyes of the media with fear, when you know an area the dark wierd looking lanes come alive and are not so dark. I live in hackney and it gets a bad rep but all in all it's a pretty good place to live. Good pubs, good kebabs, cheap(ish) housing and we've got the new RouteMaster - yeah take that Greenwich! But however long you live somewhere there are still some lanes that look dodgy as F=*k ... Esquath Lane
Now I'm no farmer, I have a balcony it gets some good action, carrots, herbs, strawberry's beetroot, usually enough for a few meals every year. However if I had a field (or an allotment) I could grow loads of stuff, purple sprouting broccoli would be amazing, not very rock'n'roll but amazing... Like Farmer Like Sun

The Circus fascinates me, I love the variety and skill of the performers but cannot help (probably due to movies) thinking that there is a murky underworld that the Circus revolves around, a path to the darker side of live, a path away from this normal realm of ours... Greatest (horror) show on Earth
